Fire-tufted Barbet
火簇擬啄木鳥
Last year
around this time at Fraser’s Hill, I managed to snap some poor shots of this
bird from far away and at the cost of a bite from a blood-sucking leech.
This time
around, one of these barbets was more willing to appear in front of birders at
a birding site as long as food is served. As a result, it served to become one
of our unexpected and jubilant collections.
